The left browser shows the Metadata Central website form used to edit users. Each field name from Security Level to Department is linked to Help Meister, as are help icons like the one to the right of the Cancel button. The user clicked on Security Level and Help Meister's pop-up help explained what the field is for and what the picklist choices mean. |
Without a lot of onscreen clutter, the website managers help guide first-time users, and encourage compliance to company policy and procedures. When that policy changes or needs clarification, managers can go into Help Meister and update the relevant help without webmasters editing the help manually. Although this pop-up help is all many users may need to help them on their way, Help Meister provides more for those who need it. Click on Keywords, the next slide along the top, to see what happens if you press the Keywords button on Help Meister's main command line. |
