Welcome Pop-Up Help Keywords Search Manual Manual Print Preferences Help

Printing from the Help Manual view of the previous slide would be convenient, but many printers produce unpredictable results from such (frame-based) pages.

The "Print" button produces a printer-friendly version that is plain and easy for any printer to print. As shown below, it begins with the Table of Contents, like most books, and continues with the help records as shown in the central area of the previous slide.

Before printing, you can use the "From" and "To" picklists, shown below, to print certain sections of the manual only, for example, to update just one section instead of wasting paper reprinting the whole thing.

You can also give the manual a title, for example, "Mary Smith's Manual" if you want to encourage borrowers to return it, or "Administrator's Manual" if you selected help types for an administrator.

You can set such help types on the Preferences form. Click on Preferences, the next slide along the top, to see how.
